
Detailed instructions on how to obtain a passport from British Visa Application Centres
The applicant can collect their passport from British Visa Centres either in person, through a third party or by courier delivery. Consider all options:
Obtaining a passport by the applicant in person
In order to collect your passport in person, the applicant must bring the following documents with them:
Original of the cheque sheet that is given to the applicant by the BVC staff when applying for a visa
Original of your passport
Copy of your passport (the first page of it with a photo)
An authorized representative of the person submitting the passport
1. a close relative
To obtain a passport through a close relative (brother, sister, mother, father, spouse, etc.), the authorized person shall bring the following documents:
1.1 Original of the checklist given to the applicant by the BWC staff when applying for visa
1.2 Original of the internal passport of the close relative
1.3 Copy of the close relative’s passport (the first page of the passport with the photo)
1.4 Photocopy of the domestic passport of the visa applicant (the person who submitted the visa application, the first page of the passport with the photo)
1.5 Documents proving family relationship (copies of birth certificates, marriage certificates and other)
2. by a third person
2.1 Original of the check-list given to the applicant (person who applied for visa) by BVC employees when submitting documents
2.2 Original of the common passport of the third (authorized) person
2.3 A copy of the general internal passport of the third (authorized) person who is taking the passport for the applicant (the first page of the passport with the photo)
2.4 Photocopy of the domestic passport of the applicant (of the person who has submitted the visa application; the first page of the passport with the photo)
2.5 Original of power of attorney for passport collection from the visa application centre (authorisation for third-party visa collection), signed by the applicant
3. Receipt by a third party on behalf of a minor child
3.1 Original of the check-list given to the applicant (person who submitted the visa application) by the BVC staff when submitting the visa application
3.2 Original of the common passport of the third (authorized) person
3.3 A copy of the general internal passport of the third (authorized) person who is taking the passport for the applicant (the first page of the passport with the photo)
3.4 a copy of the general internal passport of the parent of a minor child (the first page of the passport with the photo)
3.5 A copy of the child’s birth certificate.
3.6 Original power of attorney for passport collection from the visa application centre (authorisation for third-party visa collection), signed by the child’s parent (the applicant should give details of the child, then the details of the parent and the authorised person)

Courier delivery
DHL’s courier delivery service can only be booked prior to submission of your visa documents through TLScontact or on-site, informing the visa application officer.
If you have lost the checklist
In case of loss of the checklist the applicant can collect his/her passport at the Visa Application Centre only in person:
The original of your internal passport
A copy of their passport (the first page of the passport with the photo).
