In order to move to the UK permanently as the wife of a UK citizen, you need to prove that you have access to at least £18,600 per year. If you have one child, the income should be at least £22,400 per year.

The first child needs an additional £3,800 per year. For each subsequent child, you need to have an additional income of £2,400 per year.
Income is considered before tax.
You must also provide proof that you will be provided with adequate housing without having to apply for benefits from the state. This also applies to other family members who are not included in the application, but will live in the same house with you.
Adequate housing is considered to be housing that is not crowded with people and meets the health requirements.

You need to take a TB test at UK government-approved clinics. Pregnant women should also receive a certificate of absence of tuberculosis, but they only pass a doctor’s examination.
